Maine Big Game Stats: Check the Dashboard
Sports fans know the drill: check the stats, track the standings, and see how the season is shaping up. Now, you can do the same with Maine's hunting season. Think fantasy football but make it wildlife.
Curious how many deer have been harvested in your hometown? Which Wildlife Management District (WMD) is seeing the most activity? Or how this year's bear, deer, moose, and turkey harvest compares with previous seasons?
The Big Game Harvest Data Dashboard puts Maine's harvest data at your fingertips with an interactive map and two ways to explore:
- Follow the season: Check preliminary fall harvest totals for bear, deer, moose, and turkey. Numbers are updated daily as registrations come in through Maine's web-based game and fur registration system.
- Look back at the stats: Explore historical harvest totals by town for each big game species. Curious how this year's numbers compare with past seasons? Dig into the data and see how things have changed.
Whether you're keeping tabs on your hometown, checking out your WMD, following your favorite big game species, or just curious about how Maine's hunting season is shaping up, there's plenty to explore.
Check the stats, explore the map, and see the bigger picture behind Maine's big game harvest!
