Proof of Insurance is required for all vehicle registrations and re-registrations.

Bill of sales must have seller and owner signatures (for all individuals on title), address for both seller and buyer. Templates are available at the town office and online at https://www.maine.gov/sos/bmv/registration/passenger.html.

For new registrations, the owner must be present at time of registration to sign the title.
